Points For A Fuller Life

By Kelly Potter

Having a good body, a clear mind, and a clean conscience make up what we call a healthy person. If one of the three seems to be having problems, then you are not a healthy person. Most people think that by having a toned and fit body, you are a healthy person that is not the usual case. Having all three together in a good state is what a true healthy person should be.

Sever your ties with friends who backstab you. Chances are, you will be reliving the same hell again if you keep them. Disconnect yourself from these type of people and your life will be much better with your true friends.

Get enough sleep. The average person needs about seven to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. You will know if you have gone through the eight hours of sleep when you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready to face the day.

Working out and sweating it out releases feel good hormones called endorphins. It relaxes you and makes you happy naturally. Not only that, you can get to know your body a bit better and keep yourself healthy. So, spend some time in the gym for a couple of hours a week or ride a bicycle around the neighborhood if you do not have the time.

Invest your weekend to boost your mental health by reading a book, watch a movie at home or catch up on your favorite TV shows. Try to do something that is not in your weekday routine over the weekend. This will separate you from the stress at work.

And speaking of which, rent some movies that you can actually enjoy together with your family and friends. Invite them over for some snacks or even dinner then gather them in front of the TV and enjoy some quality laugh time with some funny movies. Laughter is just the added bonus.

Keep your sex life active. Do the deed at least twice or three times a week. This puts you in a position where you feel good about yourself and makes you glow.

Donate to charity or be a volunteer. Do an act of kindness to strangers and you will feel good about yourself. The happiness you give will only come back to you tenfolds.
