This Is Our Review Of The LG P500 Android

By Stacey Bentley

The Android platform for smart phones is slowly becoming the standard for a lot of phone manufacturers, even LG is getting in on the market with its P500. LG developed the Optimus line of phones to stay on pace with other companies like Motorola, who are taking advantage of Google's operating system. This Android phone from LG has been getting a considerable amount of attention, which is rather odd since it doesn't contain all the features as other Android phones. The LG Optimus One P500 Android handset instead tries to appeal with a modest price tag without trimming too much on performance and features so users can still enjoy the Android experience and its growing marketplace of mobile apps.Just be certain, when looking at mobile phones, that your chosen cell phone is secure against hacking by means of spyware for cell phones software and applications like the kind you may research like Mobile Spy

Features

A terrific feature is the fact that this Android phone from LG still looks like an Android phone, while several features are not there the look remains the same. The 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display is definitely not the largest but that makes the phone more portable than its larger Android peers. When you are going though the phone's applications you will find that the screen is multi touch enabled making it somewhat faster. Few phones that are within the same price range feature multi touch functions. The 320 by 480 resolution is good enough for average DVD quality movies to be played back and luckily DivX and XivD support is provided out of the box. The phone itself only has 170MB of internal memory; however, the phone also has a card slot, which can upgrade the phone to 32 GB. However, you will not have to go right out and buy the 32 GB card because the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset comes with a 2 GB card included. Along with the headphone jack and the upgradeable memory, this Android phone from LG is the ideal MP3 player.

And also, this Android phone from LG has WIFI and Bluetooth which comes with all the LG smart phones. A neat little feature that also comes included with this phone is the internal GPS. Furthermore, with the built-in accelerometer, changing the view from portrait to landscape and back again is extremely simple. Additionally, the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset comes with the ever popular 3G technology. Finally, this phone has a great loudspeaker.

Shortcomings

Once again, this phone is cheaper than most other smart phones with Android technology which of course means that had to cut back a little here and there. To start with, the camera on this phone just has 3 mega pixels, while this is a little short, the other features of the camera help to make up the difference like the auto focus feature. Although Adobe flash will not work with this phone, the social networking still remains a high quality due to the connection. Working on documents can slow down the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset due to the processor; still, everything else is right up to speed.

Summary

This LG smart phone is perfect for anyone who is looking to buy a good quality smart phone without spending a small fortune. It is the LG Optimus One P500 Android handset that may help you determine what features you truly need and how fast you need your smart phones to be. But then, a lot of users began with this phone and have decided that this more affordable model has all the features they will ever need.
