Disneyland Paris: Treat the Kids to the Holiday of a Lifetime

By Lauren Charles

Most children have fairly big imaginations. Whether the fantasize about hosting a tea party for the Queen, or slaying a fire-breathing dragon, their imaginations are nothing if not creative. If you want to fuel their fire, then a trip to Disneyland Paris could be just the thing. It's the closest children can get to living out their fantasies in real life. If you've got the budget, then Disney holidays can really go that extra mile.

Start the holiday magic off by travelling first class. Forget being crammed in; in first class, the seating is more comfortable and you also have the added bonus of being served a full meal at your seat. Each seat has a table in front of it with plenty of room, so the kids can stay occupied easily by colouring, drawing or even playing a board game. This is a great way to spoil your little darlings before you've even left England.

Flying first class is also a great option - and kids can get in the spirit and pretend to be travelling with Peter Pan or via Aladdin's magic carpet! Once on board they'll remain occupied with their own personal multimedia telly which will allow them to watch movies, tv shows and cartoons, listen to music or even interact in games with other passengers.

Of all the Paris Disneyland hotels, the one that will really spoil them is the Disneyland Hotel. Based at the entrance of the park, you'll be right by the action as the park is a mere three minute walk away. With its charming Victorian decor and first-class service, the family will be charmed instantly. Just some of the reasons this hotel is so special includes its 24-hour room service, fast track entry to the park, a spa for when Mum needs some down time plus swimming pools for mini Mickey's and Minnie's.

If you really want the full luxury experience then book into one of the magnificent suites. Fit for a king or queen, the Sleeping Beauty Suite is truly regal. It boasts three balconies, a dining room, a piano and a view of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and Main Street. You can also book the Cinderella or Tinkerbell suites which are also a fantastic place to lay your head after a long day spent in the park.
