Mini Street Bike

Bikes that are used by people that are too small or too young to hold the handles of a normal bike are known as a Mini Street Bikes. Mini Street Bikes are more affordable than the normal motorbike. Also, mini street bikes are known to of a more petite and sleeker appearance compared to the normal motorbike, enabling smaller and younger people to be able to use ride and drive it. Though it is built smaller, the mini street bike provides the same thrill and excitement as when riding a normal motorcycle. Most of the time, mini street bikes are built and made copying the proportions, craftsmanship and details of the racing motorcycles. So these bikes also comes along with all the gears that makes up a full scale motorcycle meaning gears including lightweight alloy frame, racing tires, acceleration control, twist grip and disc brakes are also present in mini street bikes.

Because mini street bikes are considered as pocket versions of motorcycles, they can also be used for racing but they do have specially designed tracks. Also these kinds of bikes can run in either gas or electric power so mini street bikes have the option on what version they would like to purchase and use. Mini street bikes that are gasoline powered can reach up to a speed of 35mph and even 50mph if it is an open class machine. Aside from that, gasoline powered mini street bikes are equipped with a two stroke internal combustion engine. On the other hand, electric mini street bikes utilized rechargeable batteries as source of power.

The size of a mini street bike is about one fourth the size of a normal motorcycle. And it is one of the most popular sports in countries like Japan, Australia and Europe. Since these types of bikes are also used for racing, a type of mini street bike racing is developed in Australia which is called as "minimoto" racing. There are claims though, that this races started and originated in Italy.

Below are some safety measures tip that mini street bike riders should keep in mind:

-When racing your mini street bike, wearing the necessary riding gears like shoes, gloves, kneepad, elbow pads and helmet is important to ensure safety of the rider in the event that an accident may occur.

-Safety, not only of the rider but as well as of the other people like pedestrian and watchers of the race, is important therefore drivers should be careful when driving their mini street bikes.

-Important rules should be followed when driving and be responsible enough to know when you are in a proper condition to drive. Do not drive if you are not in a good condition to do so such as when you are drunk or not feeling well.

-Be sure to store your mini street bike in a safe place and it should not be used by kids without proper supervision and guidance.

-Be sure to do regular check up and maintenance of your mini street bike to make sure that those parts that are damaged will be replaced or repaired. Regular maintenance and check up should be done by a mechanic.

-Make sure to do regular cleaning of your street bike to ensure that the parts will be free from any dirt or grease that can potentially damage your bike.
