Very Short Hairstyles And Short Hair Wedding Styles

By Darren Hartley

There are two basic premises why women resort to very short hairstyles. One is to get out of the monotonous routine of seeing themselves in long hair. The other is to do away with the time-consuming maintenance that comes with having long hair.

In a matter of a few weeks or months though, the uniqueness of the very short hairstyles dies down. This is when women find that they simply are at a loss to change their hairstyle from how it looked the day before. The truth though is this is hardly the case as there are a range of innovative and exciting options that can be taken to look different each day even with short haircuts.

To add dimension to the face, very short hairstyles with long bangs on the front and sides can be resorted to. They add leanness to the face and prominence to the jaw line. Another thing about very short hairstyles is its scope for layer creation. The back of the hair can be made to come down in a tight cut through the nape while the upper portions are cut in layers.

Keeping the overall length very short and keeping the hair in middle-of-the-ear length are two short hair wedding styles a woman can resort to. For the first cut, a few bangs may be kept falling lightly in the front to expose the edgy side of its wearer. For the second style, the hair is straightened with a styling iron, keeping the front bangs heavy and reaching the eyes. To complete the look, an asymmetric cut is applied to the hair in its entirety.

By keeping the hair length very short at the nape, the side bangs made to reach mid-ear length at the maximum and the front bangs longer, covering the cheekbones at the minimum, a woman has provided herself another option for short hair wedding styles. Another style would involve keeping the hair at the back reach the nape, keeping the hair at the front and sides, very short and going for short layers throughout the head.
