New Recipes That Use Gelatin Molds For Sale

Now that the weather seems to be getting hotter and hotter than usual, people are also currently on thew lookout for various ways to keep cool. Some crank up the air conditioning, some head out to the beach. Cold and frozen delights are also becoming increasingly popular. Everywhere one may look and see somebody sipping a cool cocktail, or slurping on a soda pop, or enjoying ice cream.

A sure fire way to enjoy the majestic and fine weather while indulging on your cravings is through trying out dessert recipes that can both keep us full and cool at the same time. Numerous recipes serve to beat the heat. But, if you are aiming for something new, then perhaps you might want to add gelatin that obtain various forms through gelatin molds for sale.

It is derived from a by product of meat processing. It is a colorless, mostly flavorless thickening agent. It is used to give body to molded salads and desserts. Thought originally unflavored, there are now loads of flavored and sweetened varieties available in the market.

Try using it in this new recipe that will delight your family. To make a Seven Layer Salad, you must prepare seven packs of assorted jelly. You will also need frozen whipped cream, four cups an a half of both cold and boiling water, and a can of evaporated milk.

The first thing you need to do is to coat a 9 by 13 mold with cooking spray. Then, you have to dissolve one package in a cup three fourths of the way with boiling water. Once the powder is completely dissolved, stir in three fourths cup of cold water. Pour it into the mold then chill for 45 minutes. Then dissolve another pack, this time in half a cup of very hot water. Add an equal amount of cold water and evaporated milk. Pour this on top of the first layer then refrigerate until almost set. You just have to repeat the procedures until all the package is used. Serve topped with whipped cream.

You may also want to try this remake on the popular Broken Glass. You need to prepare crushed graham, about one and one half cups. You will also need half cup of both melted butter and sugar. Keep handy three different gelatin flavors. The ones used in this recipe are lime, strawberry and orange, but you can change these with other flavors if you desire. And finally, a container of frozen whipped cream and some unflavored jelly.

In a bowl, soften the unflavored variety for about five minutes. Then, boil the pineapple juice and add the unflavored one until it dissolves. Transfer the cooked jelly to another bowl and set aside. Dissolve the lime flavored one until half a cup of boiling water, same with the remaining flavors. Put it into molds, chill until firm, then cut into cubes.

The next step is to cook the unflavored jelly in pineapple juice. Place the jelly in a huge bowl and set aside. Cook the other flavors by dissolving each package in one half cup of boiling water each. Once these have become firm, you can get to work by cutting them into cubes. Fold all the jellies in expertly whipped cream, then spoon onto the crust. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for about two hours, then serve once it has set.
