A Low Technology Workout Equals Kettlebell Exercises

By Greg Diener

Getting a major workout that can integrate different programs into one system without the need to purchase overpriced workout equipment seems impossible right? Nope, it is possible to have all of the training of many workouts into one simplified systems. Now you might be thinking "just what is this exercise that will help me get better in shape?" Well my friend, the answer lies in kettlebell exercises.

Kettlebells are cast iron weights, varying from 5 lbs. to over 100 lbs., molded like a ball with a handle for easy gripping. The idea of kettlebell workouts are that you hold the kettlebell in one or both hands and go through a variety of swings, presses, or pulling motions. Some of the movements have you moving the weight from hand to hand as the weight swings up or as you move sideways. That requires you to balance your body and engage the core in a whole new way. Other moves mandate power from the legs and hips to transport the weight, giving you integrated whole body movements that are often absent with other kinds of training and also giving you cardio.

Using these roundly shaped weights are going to provide a better alternative than working with dumbbells. The kettlebell will give you more traction than using a dumbbell. They make you feel more relaxed when using them and you will have a quicker workout. Having kettlebells in your workout arsenal will give you a much needed exercise piece in your personal gymnasium.

Kettlebell exercises use momentum for the other training exercises so that you don't have to purchase expensive pieces of equipment for cardio; or cut out four hours out of your day to do eighteen diverse workouts to get the same results. It's a low cost, low technology (because there just weights), and you will get a more demanding workout for a fraction of the time. In fact if you did want to buy more than the weights and you didn't mind the bonus product; then you could buy the exercise DVD's. Other than that, there isn't much technology demanded.

So if you want a workout that has minimal service necessities, which mixes endurance training, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance, that will bolster coordination and agility, and so many other things; then the Kettlebell workouts are the workouts for you. Buy now!
