Ideas For Foot Tattoo

By Darren Hartley

Foot tattoo ideas peaking out of a sexy shoe can be very attractive. This is way it has seen a serious rise in popularity among women. However, there are some good reasons why getting a tattoo may not be a good idea at all. As a matter of fact, some tattoo artists refuse to undertake them.

Striking foot tattoo ideas require repetition. A tattoo lover who gets a foot tattoo, must be ready and set to go back and have it re-inked when the need becomes apparent. To avoid this trip as much as possible, the top of the foot is the best place for the tattoo. Other foot places must be avoided particularly the sides of the toes.

Healing is another issue as far as foot tattoo ideas are concerned. A tattoo usually takes two to three weeks to heal. During that time for healing, it must not be allowed to rub against clothing. This is a pretty simple matter for most tattoos but obviously not for foot tattoos.

Foot tattoo ideas suggest the wearing of flip flops or other open-toed shoes during the healing process. This ensures the shoe does not rub against the tattoo. A down under is an alternative to a flip flop, should the flip flop touch the tattoo.

Foot tattoo ideas dictate keeping the new ink away from the sun. The feet must be kept clean at all times. Regular foot baths with warm water and mild soap must be taken. Rubbing the feet with a towel is a no-no. Feet must be dabbed until they are dry.

Foot tattoo ideas are not for diabetes patients. As a general rule, they are not supposed to get tattoos on any place below the waist. This is primarily because of the affection of the blood circulation that the tattoo may cause.
