The very Cedar Point Discount Tickets

By Caitlin Dashion

Woo-hoo! It's that time of year again! The Time when Cedar Point opens for the season. As I write this, opening day of 2011 is just 2 days away - Saturday May 14th! It's an annual ritual to mark the beginning of summer for me. I might not always make it right on opening day, but I'm always there within a week or so of the date that the park opens. And as much as I like to visit Cedar Point, that doesn't mean that I want to pay more money than I need to for tickets. Cedar Point isn't a charity, and I don't feel like making a donation to them! Instead, I always buy Cedar Point discount tickets online.

It's very easy. You don't have to hunt around for coupon codes, or buy tickets from some shady website with a bunch of spam on it. No, all you need to do is visit the official Cedar Point homepage and click "buy tickets". Really! Cedar Point wants its guests to purchase at a discount. The only time that they charge full price is when you buy tickets at the gate. Think of it as kind of a tax on guests of the park who wait until the last minute. The park charges more at the gate because people who buy at the gate make it more difficult for them to estimate how many people will be visiting the park on a given day. In turn, this makes it more difficult for them to accurately schedule staffing.

So, as a way to encourage guests to purchase tickets to the amusement park online, Cedar Point offers standard discounts to anyone who buys online. And then, what's more, they offer additional online discounts on a pretty regular basis. If you have a few weeks or even days before your visit to the park to ride the roller coasters and get wet at Soak City, be sure to check the online tickets page every day. One day you might check and there will only be the standard online discounts. But the next day, there might be some awesome deal for Cedar Point discount tickets. And all you had to do to get it was to browse to the site a few days in a row!

Now, the standard discounts include price breaks for students, military, children, and seniors, in addition to discounts for visiting the park late in the day and for packages such as multiday passes.

But sometimes, you'll see sweet discount tickets in position for visiting using a certain day. In case you're a bit flexible in if you check out the amusement park, you'll be able to certainly find discount tickets which will prevent a bundle.
