Protecting Your Character In A Sea Monsters Game

By Ralph T. Schoen

Sea monsters game creators have made very elaborate and fun environments in which you can sail the open sea and battle terrible creatures hidden beneath the water. A large number of such games and the monsters in them are based off of legends of terrifying sea beasts that have been retold for generations by various cultures. The aim of today's game design teams is to think up amazing monsters, give them abilities that will challenge even experienced gamers, and create battles that force players to think outside the box. In an effort to battle these monsters and advance through the game, however, you will need to collect powerful weapons and learn to use them effectively.

If most of the sea monsters game you are playing takes place on the open waters of the ocean, you will likely be using mostly ship related weapons in your battles. Game designers usually make weapons that can be upgraded little by little as you advance through the game so that new monsters are not too overwhelming to your character. Finishing upgrades to other features of your ship besides just the weapons will also help you in the game since there are many elements to winning a battle.

If your sea monsters game presents you with a hand to hand battle you will have to harness weapons very different from those your ship carries. Some games include attacks from sea creatures that physically board your vessel while others occasionally make you fight pirates and other ships on the water. Some of the most common handheld weapons you will be given access to are pistols, revolvers, long swords, and daggers; the exact weapons you use and the way to collect them will vary from one game to another.

Getting to know the unique capabilities of each weapon you use is important, as is being creative when using them in battle. Even when you think that a distance weapon will be the best option, do not forget that short range blades can also be effective depending on the circumstances of your battle.

There are many manners in which sea monsters game designers entice players, one of which is offering them the chance to master the use of many weapons. Even though you might be overwhelmed when attempting to learn to use all the weapons towards the beginning of your game, patiently developing your skills will pay off as you approach the final challenges of the game's climax.
