As mentioned earlier, it is important that the traps that are set up is good enough to catch the various types of moles that exist. They can be caught only when they are in action and catching their prey. There are certain few rules that are followed while making and setting up the traps to make sure that they are working to their maximum capacity. One of the most important ones being, not touching them with the naked hands.

It is not really necessary to wear rubber gloves or something. The other things that can be kept in mind are, burying the trap in the ground one week before it is ready to catch moles. Also, make sure that the soil is not disturbed at the bottom of the mole run.

Before the traps are used, it is essential to lubricate them. Most people often forget that the oil that is being used has to be odourless and the trap should be kept away from buildings that have a lot of oil storage. It repeals the moles.

Firstly, you need to find the mole run. The animal run is the path that the moles take on a regular bases. They drop their intoxicated saliva for the worms to get caught and freeze in the holes. Once this pathway is discovered, the more traps are built and buried in the soil.
