Using the ring finger, place it on the sixth string, on the fret which comes in third. Next, place the first finger on your guitar's fifth string and on the second fret. Finally, the middle finger is placed on the third fret of second string. Pluck all the three strings in one motion in any preferred pick.

Starting with the sixth string and proceeding to the others, play each and listen out if they ring clearly. If this is not the case, adjust the positioning of your fret-hand. In most scenarios, poor positioning affects the notes.
