Non Duality The True Philosophy One Must Follow

By Alxa Robin

Non duality means 'not two' or 'being one' in Sanskrit non duality is known as being Advaita. Everything that we know in this world has being a product of something that is of a non-dual desires. Advaita or non-duality is simply basic quality of being one and that this quality is a part of everything. People very often tend to react on non-duality, because when everything is considered to being one then why everyone doesn't experiences the same. This makes Advaita a bit confusing as every individual doesn't look the same.

Advaita tells us that everything that exists is one, no one is different from one another and is somehow connected and this oneness is named as a Brahman. The subject and the object are connected to one another in some way and everything that exists without differentiating them is nothing but Brahman. Advaita tells us that there is no other existence other than Brahman.

Advaita simply preaches going beyond the limits of religions, philosophies and nationalities, surpass everything to become one. The experience of non-duality doesn't divide but unites everyone under the same fundamentals. There are fanatic members that might not agree to the different religions being one and their concepts of God.

However you can find sages and saints that come from different backgrounds and agree to their experience of non-duality. Even the founders of the several religions, where known to be sages and they believed non-duality being the only fundamental that connects different individual. It is the base or foundation on which all the religions have made their existence.

Irrespective of the state of the candle the matter and energy remained constant and it is the only reality. It has been found that there is something absolute in the forms of matter and energy too. Similarly, there shall be a basic reality between all the ever-changing phenomena of the world.

Advaita does differ from the Vishista-Dvaita, the humans and the universe are considered to be real, but as a part of the God, in Vishista-Dvaita. Moreover in Advaita Vedanta, neither the universe nor the individual consciousness is considered to be real and it is the Oneness at the base. Being precise, the base of the universe and the individual's consciousness is what is real.

You might have had a glimpse of non-duality, when you had a sense of experiencing something deep, which has more meaning and something that is beyond the regular you, though it is the actual you.

Irrespective of the continuous flow of our individual consciousness, there is something very absolute that keeps it all together. According to Advaita, it makes the final conclusion that there can be only one Absolute in the universe and the Absolute that lies as the base of our consciousness is the same Absolute that lies at the base of the phenomena of the universe.
