But there are also several wild creatures that are not really harmful as long as you do not provoke them. The best example would be bats. These are winged mammals that are only goes out at night and is usually conceived as dangerous creatures but they are actually not.

There have been reports that bats have rabies. But not all of them have this, only a small percentage of the entire population. And you have to know that this is also a sickness for them which is deadly. That is why most bats that have rabies do not have a longer life span. According to experts, one of the known reason for their decrease is the decrease of the places that they also consider as natural habitats. Most of them live in caves. But there is a large percentage that houses themselves on the barks of the trees which are being cut down.

There are people who think that it is also important to preserve these animals. A bat can eat several thousands of insects in one night. This means that the harmful insects that are also bringing diseases with them would be reduced.

If your area is plagued by the presence of insects, you could use a little help from them. With a house, you are offering them a safer place where they can stay. And then you are also reducing the number of disease bearing insects. Providing them with shelter is also a good step to make sure that your kids do not come in contact with them during night time.

Most people find it hard to attract the creatures to the houses that they have set up. To attract them, you should see to it that the place is complete with the things that they need. This would be food and water. It is not just enough to have shelter. You have to check if they have to go far to get water or hunt for food. If they have to, you can offer them both of these.

When transferring the home, you should be careful and you should also do it in winter when the creatures are not present. Remember that they sleep as a colony. One small move would agitate them and they might see this as a threat. If you do not have the right equipment or training, it is not advised that you move it anywhere.
