Excess will cause rotting to the roots since they lack the pseudobulbs that are capable of storage. Feeding should be done with a strength fertilizer at least once in a month.

Watering should be done at least one time in a week. Too much water will harm the plant since they lack the storage structure called pseudobulb. The water should be lukewarm and free from contamination. They require nutrients to enable flowering. A strength fertilizer must be applied at least once a month.

There are occasions which can never go without having a touch of flowers which include weddings, romantic dinners and picnics. The glamour portrayed is worthwhile. Phalaenopsis are ideal for such events. They are long lasting than other cut flowers. It is good to have them as they have longer vase life. This is reason enough to care for this genus. Their colors are spectacular ranging from white, pink while others are speckled.
