The Pros And Cons Of Owning A White Faux Fur Rug

By Douglas Davis

It is undeniable that a having your home look classy and regal is a wish everybody wants to come true. When people see how beautiful your home is, everybody will be dropping with jealousy. A fur rug will give you the concept of both comfort and style. A double win situation is at the palm of your hands.

But despite its varied uses, the practice of killing animals just to get their skins of their bodies has environmentalists and animal lovers in super rage mode. The very high demand of these skins pose a threat of disappearance to many species of animals. It has then led to the invention of faux garments. So just invest your money on a white faux fur rug. But keep in mind that this item has a pretty bad side too.

You are now certified innocent from being a murderer. Congratulations. Buying fake pelt means that your guilt will not creep up at you every night. It will not remind you that a cute polar bear died just so you could decorate it at your living room. You could also sleep well knowing that cops will not come barging in your door at two in the morning since killing animals are illegal in some countries. Sweet dreams. You indeed are safe from all those things.

Buying something fake is also more affordable than buying something original. Well, it is called an original for a reason. Killing animals and peeling their skins off is no easy task, unless you secretly are a sadistic person. Counterfeit animal skin is made by synthetic fiber, which is why it costs less.

Maintaining and replacing bogus pelt is easier too. Maintaining real fur could be such a hassle on your part. You cannot just wash it easily. Meanwhile with fake ones, you could just throw it in with the rest with your laundry and just wait for it to be done. If you damaged the animal skin by washing it, you could also replace it anyway because it does not cost that much.

Fake fur is also more easier to personalize. If you get bored with the color, you could just dye it with another color and voila, you have a news set of colored garment. The problem with real ones is that you should not dye them because they are expensive. And if you fail in the process of coloring them, you just wasted your money on a totally expensive piece of trash.

But having a pelt that is fake is not entirely good for the environment too. So do not buy a lot of phony pelage. As said earlier, these things are made with synthetic fibers. These fibers are made from limestone, petroleum, coal, water, and air. Have mercy on the environment and do not horde fake ones because eventually, the environment will become sick of you and just stop producing these natural resources that we need.

False skin is also not as heat resistant compared to the real ones. It cannot give you the enough warmth your house needs since it is just manufactured skin. Unlike those poor wolves and polar bears, their covers are made to endure the coldest conditions of the weather.

If you talk of comfort, the real ones will always be more comforting than the bogus ones. Real animal fur has a smooth, slick, and glossy feel to it. The false ones feel abrasive and abrasive. If you are expecting feel like laying on a cloud when you lie down at fake fur, just wash those dreams away.
