I don't think that many individuals are going to go against the idea of an obstacle event because it is one of the more competitive instances to speak of. You're going to have to work up the courage, amongst other elements, in order to win. The reason that I talk about such elements is because of what I thought about after watching wrestling a number of nights ago. It has to be asked: are there certain wrestlers who can be tied to elements of the race in question?
One of the aspects of an obstacle event has to deal with intensity, which you have to possess much of if you want to make it to the end. This is the goal of such competitions as Spartan Race but which wrestler best personifies this? I think that, after consideration, Daniel Bryan would be the best bet. Seeing the way that he moves in the ring and hits with ferocity goes to show just the degree of effort can be brought to the table.
I believe that team efforts can be linked to this sort of competition, depending on how it is structured. Teamwork is something that is seen in wrestling as well, depending on which members you are talking about. Two of the best examples I can name off have got to be Kofi Kingston and Christian, considering that they've had tremendous experience working with others. Add in the fact that they've been in WWE for quite some time and they seem like ideal partners for anyone to have.
What about athleticism, which may be a bit downplayed but still stands as an important factor to consider? It's clear that all of the wrestlers I enjoy can move very well but it seems like DolphZiggler puts forth more of an effort than others in this regard. When he is hit with moves, it looks as though he has been struck with a massive rocket. He treats every move as if it is the death of him, which only helps to make individuals more invested in the bouts he is in.
An obstacle event is going to entail many features, though each of them are most likely going to vary in terms of importance. This will depend mostly on the kind of racer that you are as well. After consideration, doesn't it seem like these ideas can be drawn to wrestlers, depending on their levels of experience and ways of working in the ring? I'm sure that there are others which can be made and I think that it'd be interesting to find them all.
