Competition is one of those aspects which has a number of levels, some of them more eventful than others. A card game is about as simple as you can get in this regard but does this necessarily mean that you'll be bored by the events associated with it? I don't find this to be true, especially when these games can become dramatic when enough of oneself is invested in them. Of course, the gratifying feeling that comes about will be one that'll prove to be difficult to ignore.
If your focus is going to be set on much bigger events like Spartan Race, though, you may find that you will be more inclined to brag. After all, consider just how many obstacles there are and how many of them you will have to traverse in order to reach the goal. You're going to have to truly commit to the contest if you're willing to see it all the way to the end. If you believe you can go about adventure race training, then very little will stop you.
Of course, there is always a list of cons that can come about if you brag too much, especially when it comes to those you are close to. You have a tendency to turn away your family if you become too overzealous on that count. If they start to give you a silent treatment or snap at you, it's possible that you're going to want to tone it down. It makes all the difference between residing somewhere comfortably and being told that you have to leave for a while.
Can bragging rights still be a lot of fun for those who have them? I think that it is very possible but I also believe that those who spend a great deal of time mouthing off to one another are fair game. After all, they may not see the competition as entirely clear and will continually trash talk until the actual verdict comes in. When the outcome is not in their favor, I think that it's a great opportunity for bragging to be done because it's a case of sweet revenge done right.
