Several high quality ladders will be adequate for almost any home and situation. Ladders are your friend as long as you utilize them in a risk-free way. Metal ladders that are highly conductive should never be used when working with high-voltage. You could be electrocuted as long as your ladder is metal and is touching the earth. Your best choice in this situation would be a composite ladder which is not conductive.
