Holiday Lodge Short Breaks

By Abby Potter

Whether it's an anniversary coming up, or just a few days off work, there is no better time to book a romantic getaway for two. The UK boasts many places to visit and to spend a romantic weekend or short break. There are those holidays for quiet 'alone time', and there are also options for a fun filled break that is both thrilling and enjoyable.

Holiday lodges are highly popular for romantic weekends especially when you're relaxing on the veranda watching the world pass you by. Just the sight of them will make you feel romantic and the high quality of these lodges will make you never want to leave.
Cornwall is a hugely popular place in the UK, especially for couples. With an abundance of scenery and beaches, White Acres offers a memorable stay. Polperro, about five miles from Looe Bay, is a quaint little fishing village, just perfect for spending a quiet afternoon together. The beautiful harbour provides an excellent scenic walk.

Another destination in Cornwall is Ruda and is well worth a visit. What better way to spend a romantic short break than horse riding together along the beach?

For many more quiet short breaks, Scotland provides it all. Tummel is one of the most popular destinations for outdoor activities, from forest walks to mountain biking. The forest also has many romantic spots, perfect for a picnic for two.

To top off one of these short breaks, a holiday lodge is hard to beat. Features include comfortable living areas for snuggling, a TV for a little relaxation after an enjoyable day and much more. You can choose from either a timber or modern holiday lodge, depending on your preferences. With holiday lodges in such picturesque locations, every couple can enjoy an unforgettable romantic holiday.
