Hard Portfolio Cases: Better by Far

By Shannon L. Hilson

If you're an artist, you don't like sloppy workmanship and poor design. Your creative eye takes in the details of everything around you and you appreciate beauty wherever you see it. You are always ahead of the trends and are the first one to spot emerging trends in the market. These are some of the qualities of the artistic personality. Little wonder, then, that artists are turning in their soft cases and turning to hard portfolio cases.

What are hard portfolio cases? Well, the best ones are made out of high grade aluminum. This is the most practical material for constructing a quality case. It is light weight but at the same time very strong. There are hard cases made from other materials, but for serious artists, aluminum is the best construction material of them all.

Artists are as concerned about quality as much as they are concerned about appearances because they know that really the two go hand in hand. That's the reason why an artist would rather skip paying his electric bill than do without the best brushes and other artist supplies available. Luckily for starving artists everywhere, hard portfolio cases are not costly, otherwise artists would have to go without even more.

An artist is not an artist if she does not appreciate fine design. In this regard, hard portfolio cases made out of aluminum have no peers. They are beautiful to look at from a distance and from close up, their fine detailing becomes apparent. They little things like the chromed corners and handle make all the difference between a nice case and a case worthy of a fine artist.

Of course, your paintings, drawings and sketches are not going to be on the outside of your case. You want the inside of the case to look as good as the outside. Think about how much more dramatically impressive your presentation is going to be when you open up your hard portfolio case and your client sees the hand stitched black leather-like interior lining.

You didn't buy a hard portfolio case just to leave it sitting around the studio. You bought it because you needed something to carry your portfolio in and you want something that you can count on. It's so much better to have a case with foolproof lockable latches than a zippered case that is so awkward to open and close.

Pick it up and you discover that the handle isn't just a pretty feature, it feels good in your hand. It's also nice that the case comes with two strong and durable strap pins and a shoulder strap that has been ergonomically designed. When you get to your destination and lay the aluminum hard portfolio case on the table, it will remain gently but firmly in place thanks to the cushioned rubber feet.

It's not only artists who can appreciate the difference between hard portfolio cases and their soft counterparts. Those all important clients will notice them, too and they will be impressed. Your case can make the difference between a sale and a rejection, so why take any chances? Get an aluminum portfolio case. You and your art deserve it.
