Don't Eat This when you've got an Overactive Bladder

Do you suffer from an overactive bladder? Do you need to often stop what you're doing so that you can head to the bathroom? Have you tried to do other things to stop these excursions to the bathroom? Most people think that it is our liquid consumption that plays a part in the amount of time we spend relieving our bladders. This is normally why a lot of people just about dehydrate themselves in an effort to keep from having to visit the bathroom too often.

Would you believe that it is also the solid foods that you eat that can give rise to your "pee breaks" during the day? The simple fact of the matter is those number one potty breaks are simply a way for your body to relieve waste. The waste amasses equally from fluid and solid intakes. What you excrete can be from something solid or fluid, regardless of which form it took when you ingested it.

While Vitamin C is vital for fighting off infections, it has been proven that citrus fruits can bother the bladder. This is largely due to the fact that many citrus fruits include substantial levels of acid and thats why you need to avoid them both in solid and juice forms. The key sources of this acid tend to be pineapples (which isn't technically a citrus fruit but is just as irritating to your system), lemons, tangerines, grapefruits and oranges. You ought to decide on bananas, apples, pears and berries to get ample Vitamin C each day.

This might seem a little bit traumatizing but if your bladder is excessively energetic, you shouldn't eat a lot of chocolate. Chocolate includes caffeine in it. Your bladder doesn't like it very much if you ingest caffeine and it will send you to the bathroom quite a lot when you take in lots of it. The exact same holds true for caffeinated drinks as well. If you have been making a lot of trips to the restroom you should stay away from all forms of caffeine. Instead, you should pick out decaf sodas and coffees or dark chocolate.

This will probably be painful for people who like spicy foods but it is important, if you dont want to spend your evenings running to the bathroom, to avoid foods like super spicy nachos, wasabi sauce, etc. If it can make your eyes and nose run you can bet it is gonna make other parts of your body run as well. Choose less spicy variations of those foodsthat way you can get the flavor without the irritability of your bladder.

We usually believe that if it's liquid when it comes out it should have been fluid when it went in. This is absolutely not true. The waste material that comes out of our bodies is just the remaining parts of what we have consumed that cannot be used or stored so it is excreted in whatever manner is the most convenient.
