Quick Exploration Regarding Alien Abduction Phenomenon

By Pete Phaedrus

There are many strange phenomenon that has found a place in our society. One of the more controversial points of discussion in this regard is the topic known as alien abduction. Although this is a very confusing and complicated subject, it is also very interesting and worthy of exploration.

Many have a hard enough time contemplating the idea of extraterrestrial life somewhere in the vast universe. That makes it very difficult not only to imagine that a possible group of beings may have not only traveled here, but also that they may be kidnapping people without their consent. Those who claim to have been abducted come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and none seem to have anything to gain from coming forward with these tales.

Most instances of this nature take place at night, while a person is asleep. This is not always the case, however, as some report being taken during the day. Most report suddenly finding themselves on board an alien space craft when they become conscious, while others claim to float out windows or doors, even while they are closed.

Almost all potential victims cite what is a very ominous tone to their experiences. They almost universally claim that their abductors are silent, lacking compassion, and even violent. Another common theme is the utilization of either medical experimentation or sexual experimentation, normally with an aim at reproductive aspects of human physiology.

Whether the phenomenon is real or the product of some other issue is up for debate. There is no debate, however, on the impact that these experiences have on the individuals who report them. Most come away very traumatized by these experiences, and the memories tend to haunt them for a the rest of their lives.

There are a variety of potential causes for things of this nature. No matter how fantastic they may seem, many believe that these instances occur just as the individuals describe them. Others claim that they are mere hallucinations, dreams, problems with mental illness, or instances of sleep paralysis.

The controversial and hotly debated topic of alien abduction is certainly not without its share of believers and skeptics. This issue has taken root in many aspects of popular culture, widely used in books, television, and film. Unfortunately, many people truly suffer from often severe psychological trauma related to these reported experiences. Those who claim to have been a victim sometimes never fully recover from what they say happened to them.
