Paint Ball Marker Stock - Find the Best One For Your Marker

By Roger Gonzalez

Since paintball has exploded into the ultra popular weekend activity many know it to be today, so has the gear used for it. There is gear for every level of paintball player, from the once a month player, to the avid weekender. Lets not forget all of the gear available for the different types of paintball. Woodsball and speedball players have never had so many markers, barrels, masks, tanks, clothing, and even paintball gun stocks to choose from.

We ought to be grateful for all of the dedicated companies out there offering variations upon variations of paintball gun stocks. However, with options comes decisions, and with so many options making a decision can be difficult!

To help you find the right stock for you, here are three questions you should ask yourself before you buy anything. These questions are a must, and you should know the answer before you start wasting your money on a stock that isn't right for you.

1. Do you want to use a remote? Many paintballers who play in the woods prefer a coiled remote setup to take the weight of the tank off of their marker. If you are looking to have this setup on your marker, then you will need a specific type of stock.

2. What kind of paintball gun do you use? Depending on the brand of paintball marker you use, the number of aftermarket stocks could be higher. Tippmann markers tend to have the widest range of stocks available compared to any other marker. While you can find stocks for markers such as the Angel, it is fairly difficult to find one for most brands of speedball style markers.

3. What style of stock do you want? There are many styles available. You can find T-stocks, collapsible stocks, and foldable stocks. If you have a marker such as a Tippmann, be ready to find a good number of styles available.

Determine the answers to the above 3 questions and you will greatly enhance your chances of finding the right stock for you!
