Liverpool Football Club Latest News

By Linda Myers

The Merseyside Club had their most thrilling game this month when it was only one month-old. However the Reds have completed the month rather lowly compared to the same time December 2015. Detailed below is Liverpool Football club latest news.

You should have seen the goal! The breakthrough was incredibly fast. Clyne shoots from the half line to Adam Lallana who tips a shot to Christian Benteke who accurately shoots into bottom left part of the goal of the Sunderland lads and makes the maiden goal of the match. I just cannot help remembering. There were other attempts, though futile, but no shot crossed the goal-line so Liverpool still won.

Liverpool has been targeting League 1 giants goalkeeper, Steve Mandanda, who is to replace the Belgian, Simone Mignolet. It is claimed that Steve is in intense talks with the club. This has been caused by the instability of the current keeper.

Despite goals proving hard to come, it seems that Klopp is satisfied with his squad and deemed that one change was enough for the game of that night. Would mot you have made more changes if you were the coach? That would seem as the most appropriate thing to do.

Within the second half of the game Clyne knocked a pass from the halfway line to Adam Lallana getting to Benteke who shot into the bottom left corner, ultimately changing the score-line. Being alert to a flick by Adan and his instant shot was what got him in the score-sheet. The goal was quick prompting the hosts came up for an attack with the hope of an equalizer.

Meanwhile, the nineteen- year- old striker, Jerome Sinclair may leave the club soon since his contract has expired. The situation has worsened due to change of agents he has recently had. Aidy Ward, who engineered Raheem Sterling transfer from Anfield- is his new agent. This would mean that Klopp would be searching for a youthful replacement.

The first change of the night took place when Klopp took Jordan off the pitch and Lucas Leiva took the captain band. It ended the duel of Jordan against his former club. Being an almost barren game we cannot understand where no more than one change was preferred by the coach.

Jurgen Klopp has expressed his hope to win at Sunderland. Sources say that he is confident in his players ability and confidence and claims that he will show how football should be on Wednesday where he is optimistic to win and earn three points. He was in frustration against Watford for being sluggish but happy when playing against Leicester due to quick goals.

The reds are also willing to part with 7 million euros to secure the services of Marco Grujic who will be leaving to Liverpool this week for a medical. The player is currently at Red Star Belgrade However since the player will be remaining till the season is over his club will have to get 1 million euros only. Such is the cost of withholding a player! But it has its benefits too. Anyway the Reds must be in top form as soon, they will be playing against West Ham.
