If you want to try coast, the areas of Flamingo and Tamarindo offer the most popular Costa Rica fishing spots. There, sails are caught throughout the entire year but for the best fishing, plan between May and August . Tuna are abundant here during August to October. It is not uncommon to find tuna schools of 40 to 60 pounders and sometimes groups with some fishing weighing 200 to 400 pounds. Between November and March, Papagayo Bay is a great place to catch roosterfish. They see, to prefer shorelines and are usually caught in around 60 feet of water. Large marlin, colorful dorado, and wahoo can also be caught here at different times of the year.

Many visitors fishing in Costa Rica are looking for billfish and these beauties are very common along the Central Pacific coast. Drive to luxurious Los Suenos Marina or Quepos and charter into the offshore waters to catch marlin and sailfish. The best fishing is during high tourist season, December through April. The vibrant dorado fish is often found here May to October while trolling. Closer to shore, folks commonly catch snapper, snook, roosterfish, and wahoo. Tuna schools can be found offshore.

Golfo Dulce, Drake Bay, and Puerto Jiminez are places to consider when fishing along the South Pacific coast off the incomparable Osa Peninsula. When the waters are warmer, you have a great chance at hooking sailfish and large marlin. For the best inland fishing in the country, consider the Golfo Dulce area. It is a haven for many kinds of fish because of its rocky bottom and many coves. You will find sharp toothed barracuda, grouper, delicious sea bass, snapper, amberjack, wahoo, and roosterfish here. You will not be let down if you angle in these areas!

Costa Rica's Caribbean waters contain the famed fishing areas of Tortuguero National Park and Barra del Colorado close to the Nicaragua border. Although these waters can be very choppy, you can catch many types of deep sea fish on days when the water is flat. The spectacular tarpon are plentiful here from May to November and some reach about 150 pounds or more. They are caught off river mouths and also in rivers and estuaries that are filled with wildlife. This wild part of Costa Rica close to where Christopher Columbus landed on his adventures is one of the only places where you might catch a rare Atlantic sail. Other fish like snook are also readily available. You may even hook a giant grouper, guapote, tripletail, or Jack Crevalle! And, try to time your visit when the Atlantic green sea turtles are nesting on the world's largest reserve.

If your training is taking place in the city, you are going to be dealing with multiple runways, numerous other planes and even navigating landings via the winds. What Kind of Fish to Get for Your New Aquarium

So you want to get an aquarium. Your first step is to figure out what kind of fish you want. But just how do you choose from the colorful tanks on the wall of your local pet store?

This can be a daunting experience for new fish keepers. Of course, you want fish that appeal to you and have the right 'look,' but when selecting fish for your new aquarium, there are three important questions to keep in mind. First, how large will this fish grow? Second, what are the fish's water quality requirements? Finally, how well will this fish live with the other fish I want?

Community fish are fish that are usually about one inch or less. Fish keepers usually choose to populate their tanks with groups of similar community fish. Some examples of community fish are sword tails, guppies, Dwarf Gourami and Platies. When you have chosen a variety, find fish that are close to the same size. Get some advice on which varieties get along well with each other if you want to mix them. Avoid getting just one community fish because they are used to swimming in schools and will just be lonely in your aquarium. As a rule of thumb, provide one gallon of aquarium water for every inch of these fish.

Other bigger species of fish can grow from 6 inches to several feet in length. They are generally best kept alone for they are known to attack or eat smaller or weaker fish. You will need a larger aquarium to keep them in. A ten gallon tank may suffice while they are still young, but eventually, you will need to transfer them to something bigger.

It will be better to just purchase the aquarium that can accommodate their adult size, when you first get your fish. Once you've selected the kind of fish you want, find out the maximum size they will grow to, then buy the appropriate aquarium.

There are some types of fish that can thrive in almost any type or condition of water. The goldfish is the most popular of these varieties. They are recognized as almost invincible. They will no doubt continue to survive even with no aquarium lights or filters, but this is not exactly wise fishkeeping practice.

Some of the more delicate tropical fish will live only in certain water temperature and in waters of higher quality. Some need a specific pH or nitrate level. This will require you to do your research to find their specific requirements and maintain correct water condition. A good filter will have to be installed, plus some products added, like the EcoBio-Block, which greatly improves water quality and reduces the need for frequent aquarium cleaning.

Marine or saltwater variety is the last group of fish. Keeping them, however, is recommended only when you have enough fish keeping experience with freshwater fish. Though these fish are attractive, they do require a lot of maintenance work in order to keep them healthy. Other than keeping watch over the water quality, lighting and temperature, you also have to keep track of the salt level in your aquarium. Note also that you cannot mix freshwater fish with the marine varieties in just one aquarium.

Lastly, whatever the species you decide on, always remember to buy only those fish that are healthy. Inspect them carefully for uneven scales, irregular growth or injuries. Check also if they have bright eyes and intact fins. They should have healthy appetites and move actively and naturally in the water.

As you can see, choosing your fish is an important factor when creating your aquarium and good choices will mean many years of enjoyment to come.

Although they are somewhat heavier than their single walled counterparts and take a bit longer to arrange, they are normally less pricey, warmer, and hold up better in wet conditions. Although the lower weight specifications and small compacting size of the individual wall tents construct them attractive, the double wall tents are typically a better deal economically.

Some manufacturers offer a 3+ season tent whenever you are camping ahead of time in the Spring or late in the Fall; just unless you're projecting specifically to camp in the winter months a three season tent is more than enough without undue bulk and weight.

If you don't have room to keep your shoes in the tent with you, vestibules are a great place to keep them dry and yet outside the main tent. Some vestibules provide enough of an overhang to allow the screen or even the door to be open during the rain. I personally enjoy feeling the breeze from a storm while I am dry inside the tent. Most people probably would not consider the vestibule worth the weight, but they are a nice luxury.

Seattle Seahawks Season Update

The Seattle Seahawks seem to be poised for a bounce back year, following a disappointing 2008 campaign that saw the team finish with a losing record. They've made some changes; most importantly their new head coach Jim Mora.

The 09' season for the Seahawks should be well improved -- the Seahawks might not be Super Bowl contenders but should compete in every game they are in.

Matt Hasselback has played ok but suffered a rib injury. It is yet to be determined if this will be a lingering injury that will hurt his entire 09' season. If the team expects to improve on their 4-12 season, Hasselback must start more then 7 games, as he did in 08'.

The NFC West isn't the strongest division the NFL has ever seen. The Arizona Cardinals haven't yet found themselves yet, the St. Louis Rams are one of the bottom feeders in the league, the San Francisco 49ers are a young team on the rise though.

In 08', Hasselback only started 7 games for the Seahawks -- when he did play he only completed 52% of his pass attempts with 5 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. Hasselback is in his mid 30s -- there are not many good years left for him one would assume if he can't stay on the field.

QB Seneca Wallace has stepped in for Hasselback and has done fairly well -- completing around 61% of his pass attempts. The acquisition of T.J. Houshmandzadeh gives the QB's of the Seahawks a number one option. WR Nate Burleson has had a good season averaging over 10 yards per catch. Burleson only played one game in the 08' season.

Week 2 wasn't as kind to them, as the team lost in San Francisco to the 49ers, a fellow NFC West team. Not only did they lose the game, but Hasselbeck took a serious shot.

If the Seahawks can stay healthy for the majority of the season they are an easy 8 win team -- which is double the wins from last season. The Seahawks have their coveted "12th man" with the home crowd which makes it difficult for opponents to play them on their own turf.

As I was catching up on the music world last week, I found myself reading an article with the published results of a survey. This survey polled American music fans, asking them who they felt the greatest rock band in American music history was. You might be surprised by the fact that more people voted Pearl Jam than any other band.

This wasn't number one band of the 90s, but it was the number one American rock band ever.

Then I started thinking about things. Who would normally be chosen as the best rock bands of all time? The Beatles. Perhaps some would go with Led Zeppelin. Others might choose a band like the Rolling Stones.

I'm a music lover, but I have to admit that I was wrong here. Every band I thought of either hailed from another country, or simply didn't have the depth of musical hits that Pearl Jam did.

When all is said and done, other contenders were bands like Aerosmith, Van Halen, REM, Journey, the Eagles, and others.

After thinking about it, I guess Pearl Jam really is worthy of the spot. Think about it. They were amongst the top of the pack when it came to the grunge and alternative movement, and they churned out a massive number of hits in the'90s.

The fact that Pearl Jam continues to write some great albums to this day only builds the case they make as the greatest American rock band. They just recently came out with Backspacer, and this critically acclaimed album is being called their best of the decade.

Music lovers also praised the fact that Pearl Jam has stayed true to its own musical interests, never caving into the wishes of major labels. They say that Pearl Jam has always kept ticket prices reasonable, and continues to have a great time churning out new music to this day.
